We will talk you through the process, complete a pre exercise screening and write a program to suit your ability and needs. Our trainer will demonstrate the exercises which are within your training program, whilst pushing you to achieve your goals. The benefits of Resistance training
Resistance training increases muscle strength by making our muscles work against a weight and force. There are different types of resistance training, which include free weights, weight machines, resistance bands and your own body weight.
A well-balanced training program will improve bone, joint function, bone density, tendon and ligament strength as well as increase muscle. Other physical benefits can include weight management, prevention and control of diabetes type 2, heart disease, arthritis, back pain, depression and obesity.
A common problem in our generation is posture. Many people spend most of the day in front of a computer and as a result, their posture has changed. Resistance training and corrective exercise can improving your posture and also prevent risk of injury.
People who train with resistance start to see an improvement with their confidence and self-esteem, and start to see results and changes to their bodies.
